Bio of Lee Assam

Lee serves as the Founder and Chief Software Architect of Treadstone Web Services and brings to the table 10+ years of Web Development experience.

He has worked in many technologies from C, C++, Microsoft Dot Net and Java to Cold Fusion, PHP and JSP in the Web arena. He is committed to a standards-based approach to software development.

He is also keen on Web 2.0 applications and the technologies which make them possible including AJAX and jQuery.

He is passionate about the Semantic Web and has written a Master's thesis on the subject and received a publication.

Lee also holds many professional Web-related industry certifications. He is a Sun Certified Java Programmer, Sun Certified Web Component Developer, Sun Certified Developer for Java Web Services, and a Certified Internet Webmaster.

In his spare time (when he has any), he enjoys travelling, reading, watching movies, working out at the gym and playing racquetball.
